We were delighted to run our 4th Summer Social on Sunday 6 July,  2025 - the Middle Sunday of Wimbledon.

We were incredibly lucky with the weather yet again with the sun out for the whole afternoon too!

The atmosphere is always very special at this event - with Justin guiding players on court for tennis and lots of oohs and aahs coming from the clubhouse with the tense Cam Norrie match on! The strawberrys and cream and cake stall went down very well, the very creative kids stall and the bar of course too!

Although the main emphasis was our member's enjoyment and opportunity to meet others, we were delighted to also raise around £285 to go towards further improvements to the club environment.

Congratulations to Daniel Yachnikov Hughes, one of our newer members who won our wonderful Wimbledon themed hamper and to Dan Warnes who won our closest in guessing the Norrie match score right!

Toke Skovlund recorded the fastest member serve with our accurate speed gun - at a whopping 111mph!

A huge thank you as ever to all our wonderful volunteers - we could not have done it without you!

Here's looking forward to doing it all again next year already.........!!!!
