The formalities of becoming a member

i) It is a condition of membership that you are familiar with the Club Rules and the Club Policies which must be read in conjunction with the LTA Rules and Policies. Members are required to adhere to all of the above.

Drummond Lawn Tennis Club is now an Incorporated Association. We have taken steps to do this so that the club will benefit from a limited liability legal structure. The members of the Club have approved this.
 

iii) Members must agree to the following upon joining : "I agree that I will not play when unfit, or against the advice of a medical practitioner, and that, if I have concerns about my health, or have medical requirements or conditions , I will inform those I am playing with."
 

NEW MEMBERS MUST BUY A GATE AND CLUBHOUSE KEY MEMBERSHIP TOO otherwise you will not be able to access the club when the gate is locked.
 

Drummond is perfect for players of all standards and ages. We aim to reactivate our vibrant social calendar, including club nights every Friday during the season; we have two women's and four men's teams playing in the East of Scotland LTA Leagues; we offer social tournaments and coaching, and we have a growing number of junior members.

If you are interested in joining Drummond and would like to look around first or try out the courts, please email info@drummondtennisclub.co.uk.  Alternatively, you could come and try out a friendly paid group coaching session on a Tuesday or Thursday morning. You'll pay a small supplement as a non member.  And if you have a partner who is not a tennis player, but would like to join as a social member, then we have a membership category to suit them as well.

By joining Drummond Tennis Club, all members old and new are agreeing to abide by the Drummond Tennis Club Disciplinary Policy as per Appendix A of the former Drummond Tennis Club Constitution .
