Court bookings

  • Our grass courts are open to members and non-members alike during the summer months, generally from early May to the last week in September.
  • PLEASE CLICK ON 'Show More' BELOW FOR MORE INFORMATION...
  • Our 4 grass courts are free to book for our members (but Guest Fees are still payable if playing with non-members), but anyone is able to  'Pay & Play' at Elms for just £10 per hour/court - a great way to try our club out if you're thinking of becoming a member, and we will happily deduct your Pay & Play fee from your membership if you do decide to join!
  • Guest Fees: Members booking a court will need to enter a name ('Guest 1' etc. will do) into the Participants section for any guests that they intend to bring - £5/guest/hour.  You're welcome to bring up to 3 guests, but you only need to pay £10/court/hour, so just enter 'Guest 1' and 'Guest 2' as  your 2 participants.
  • Non-members wanting to Pay & Play will need a 'Join Advantage' LTA (Lawn Tennis Association) account before they can book a court.  This is quite simple, and completely free.  You will be asked to login / register when you make a court booking from this webpage.
  • Courts can be booked up to 7 days in advance.
  • Please note: The courts become very slippery if it rains, so please do not play if conditions are poor. If you have booked and paid for the session, but are not able to play because of the wet surface, we will reimburse your booking fee.
  • Fit to Play:  Please seek medical advice if you have a medical condition that might interfere with your safety before playing tennis at Elms.  Anyone using our courts, whether a member, guest or simply a member of the public booking a court without being (with) a member, is responsible for their own health and for any injuries or accidents that may befall them.  Please also take heed of our warnings about playing on the courts when they are wet – this is not only unsafe as they become very slippery, but it is also damaging for the grass.
