The Trustees of Fernhurst Recreation Ground are delighted to announce the plans to celebrate the opening of the new pavilion, which is on schedule for completion in late October 2022.
5th November 2022 – A small official event will be held to thank the major donors to the project, and to officially cut the ribbon on the new building. Booking enquiries to potentially hire the building after that date are now welcome.
A Wall of Thanks will also be unveiled at that event which will list the names of those generous donors who have given £250 or more to the project. If anyone would like to ensure that their name is added to this list, you can donate via our GoFundMe page or directly by contacting the Trust at the address shown below.
29th May 2023 – A full Community Day will be held with everyone welcome to join us for a day centred around cricket, tennis and football tournaments. Join us to celebrate the village’s new facility. Food and drinks will be available as will a variety of entertainments for all the family.
Special exclusive events will also be taking place during the day to thank our generous donors. Donations are still very welcome!
