Grundisburgh Tennis Club is pleased to announce that the courts have now been painted and will be ready to play on from Thursday 27th June. We hope you will enjoy playing on your new courts. Thanks for all your patience while the courts have been closed. Also a big thanks to Chris Lee, the Club Treasurer, who has undertaken the court resurfacing project single handedly. We'd also like to thank the Parish Council for allocating CIL monies from the Chapel Field development and the Valencia Communities Fund both of which helped fund the refurbishment along with the club's own funds. The new courts are a great asset to the club and its members as well as the village and wider community.
To celebrate the court opening we are holding two events:
Meet the coach (members only) - 6th July - 1000 - 1200
Meet our new LTA Accredited coach, Nick Frost. This is a members only event and will be split into two sessions: Kids and families 1000 - 1100 and adults only 1100 -1200. Please ensure kids attend with an adult for the whole session. FREE
Club open day - 13th July - 1230 - 1700
During the village show the club will have an open day so everybody can see the new courts and will be able to meet our new LTA Accredited coach, Nick Frost. The club will also have a tennis themed activity stall with prizes to win. We hope to see you there. FREE
