Introduction
Welcome to the Lavenham LTC website which provides up-to-date information on the club's progress and activities throughout the season, both on and off the court. The tennis club has three excellent artifical grass courts (2 of which have just been resurfaced) with floodlighting and one hard court, together with a fantastic clubhouse, complete with changing and shower facilities.
Club nights are held throughout the season on Tuesday evenings from 6pm for all adult members. Halstead League matches are played on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings during the main season and Monday and Thursday evenings during the winter season. The men’s senior teams play on Tuesday mornings and Junior coaching takes place on Thursday and Sunday evenings and Saturday afternoons during the main season.
The club also runs an internal knockout competition as well as various tournaments and social events throughout the year. We are entering 3 Men's, 3 Mixed, 2 Ladies and 2 Senior teams in the 2024 Summer League. Last summer the Men's A came 2nd in Division 1 as did the Mixed A. The Seniors A team won Division 1 of the Senior League and the Seniors B finished 2nd in Divison 2. We have 3 teams and 2 Senior teams entered in the Winter 2023-24 League. Match results are available to view on the Halstead and District Tennis League website!
