Welcome to Stradbroke Tennis Club

Located in the heart of Stradbroke between the Leisure Centre & Community Centre

We are delighted to confirm that the club has secured funding from Mid Suffolk District Council to enable the courts to be resurfaced.

In addition, the club is to go ahead and upgrade the floodlights to LED's which will enable extended use of the courts during the evenings.

Work has started on the resurfacing of the courts and installation of new floodlights and the courts will now be out of action until further notice.

As a result, the Booking system has been closed down until the end of April. This will be reviewed as work progresses.

An agreement has been reached with Fressingfield Tennis Club for members to be able to use their two courts for Social play on Monday & Thursday afternoons 13:30 – 15:30 at no cost to our members.

It might also be possible to use their courts at other times, by arrangement, so if you would like to do this, please contact David Lewis at stcmemb@hotmail.com to see if there is availability.

Apologies for the inconvenience, but it will be worth it once the work has been completed.

As a result of this, the club will be reducing the membership fees for the coming season, which will be available for members to renew on 1 April.

The AGM for the club will be held at 19:00 on 17 March 26 at the Community Centre and we would like your help and support in deciding how the club is run and grow. We will also be looking for additional support on the committee as 3 existing members will be standing down.
