Somersham & District Community Association

Somersham has two macadam courts in the farthest corner of the village playing fields, where there is ample parking . The courts were built for the village community about 20 years ago and are free for use every day.  The courts are unlocked each morning and are locked up every evening, thanks to the sterling work of a key volunteer.  Registered with the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA), the courts adheres to the standards set by the LTA and is fully insured. The new clubhouse, open during coaching sessions, and by arrangement with the Committee, provides shelter for parents watching their children be coached and is a place to meet up after a game.

Our Assistant Coach, John Tallent, is Level 1 qualified and fully LTA accredited, providing group coaching for children.
