Welcome to Lowestoft Town Tennis Club

Important Update - effective 5th November through to 2nd December 2020

Please note that regretably as a result of lockdown restrictions introduced with effect from 5th November 2020, use of the LTTC courts and all tennis activity has had to cease until further notice, which is anticipated to be at least until the planned end of the lockdown period on 2nd December 2020.

Accordingly, all courts are marked as "Closed" in the court bookings section and members are not allowed access to or use of the courts.

Please check back for updates in due course.

At Lowestoft Town Tennis Club we are always pleased to welcome new junior and adult members and offer a range of memberships.

We encourage informal and organised social play and offer competitive club and league matches.

We are based at the Denes Oval in north Lowestoft. We have four hard courts and a clubhouse with kitchen and toilet facilities in a lovely park and coastal setting. Courts are available for use every day throughout the year.

The main Club activity takes place between March and September each year but we have a year round playing and coaching programme. The Club currently runs 5 teams in the Lowestoft and District League during the summer, 2 Vets teams in the Norwich and District summer league and 4 teams in the Norwich winter league. All matches are doubles, either mixed, ladies or mens.

Our comprehensive range of adult and junior coaching programmes is delivered by a team of LTA-qualified coaches to give all players opportunities to improve their tennis and gain greater enjoyment from the game.

Any queries, just get in touch!

Lowestoft Town Tennis Club is committed to prioritising the well-being of all children and adults at risk, promoting safeguarding in our club at all times, including all programmes and events we run. The Club’s Safeguarding Policy (viewable on the Club Policies page of this website or on the noticeboard in the Club Room) strives to minimise risk, deliver a positive tennis experience for everyone and respond appropriately to all safeguarding concerns/disclosures. The Policy and noticeboard also provide guidance on how to report a concern and contact details for Mandy Driver, the LTTC Welfare Officer.
