The courts are available for free, but it is not possible to pre-book a court. Please see the Lowestoft Town Council Website at LTC for further details.
Outside of these times the grounds and courts are locked, but Lowestoft Town Tennis Club members can book and access courts using the club court booking system which can be found here.
IMPORTANT - During the winter months these courts may become slippery. Please make your own judgement whether it is safe to play. Lowestoft Town Council reserve the right to close all courts at short notice.

At Lowestoft Town Tennis Club we are always pleased to welcome new junior and adult members and offer a range of memberships.
We encourage informal and organised social play and offer competitive club and league matches. Our club nights take place on Tuesdays from 6.30pm. Our online court booking system allows you to book a court to play with friends or family.
We are based at the Denes Oval in north Lowestoft. We have four floodlit hard courts and a clubhouse with kitchen and toilet facilities in a lovely park and coastal setting. Courts are available for use every day throughout the year. In June 2022 planning permission was granted to floodlight 4 courts. The floodlights have now been installed, so extended play can now take place to 10.15pm.
We have a year round playing and coaching programme. The Club currently runs 3 teams in the Lowestoft and District League during the summer, 2 Vets teams in the Norwich and District summer league and 3 teams in the Norwich winter league. All matches are doubles, either mixed, ladies or mens.
Our comprehensive range of adult and junior coaching programmes is delivered by a team of LTA-qualified coaches from Racket Sports Academy to give all players opportunities to improve their tennis and gain greater enjoyment from the game. The RSA team offer inclusive opportunities to play that includes, Walking Tennis, Learning Disability Tennis & Wheelchair tennis sessions.
