Welcome to the Official 'Tennis in the Park' Ipswich Website
Tennis in the Park is a new venture organised by Ipswich Borough Council and Ipswich Sports Club. Have you got what it takes to be the UK's hot new tennis star? Come along find out and play on the fantastic five new tennis courts in ChristChurch Park. Tennis in the Park is open to everyone and all ages are welcome.
We offer free coaching every week for all the family including rackets and balls, plus courts and coaches, there are no barriers so come and join us.
What's it all about?
This new exciting partnership, over the forthcoming year, will use the tennis courts in Christchurch Park to deliver a tennis programme catering for all skills and ages.
Professional tennis coaches, from Ipswich Sports Club, will stage regular fun activities together with scheduled coaching sessions for all the family throughout the year.
We're running free coach led tennis sessions at Christchurch Park, IPSWICH
TFF sessions are either 12yrs and over, or ‘All Ages’. Please check the supporting text on this page for this venue as to which of these categories this TFF scheme falls into. If it is a 12yrs+ only session, please don’t book in children under this age, as 12yrs+ sessions are full court, normal yellow tennis balls, which will be too difficult for younger children/juniors.
