Court Security & Safety – we have recently reviewed our coaching risk assessment and when the Autumn Term coaching starts we will be locking the court gates during coaching sessions. All members of the Coaching Team will have keys and access on and off the courts will be very easy but controlled. This may well mean that when you book a court for general play or arrive for a social session the courts may well be locked even though other players may be on court. Please remember to lock the gate behind you if a coaching session is still running.

Adult Club Championships are progressing well towards the finals day on Sunday 29th September. All results and draws plus finals day running order – follow link here 2024 Adult Club Championships

Recycling used tennis balls – we are one of a small group of clubs participating in a trial LTA ball recycling scheme.

It is run by a company called Dyuce who ensure the used balls are dispatched to create recycled rubber for athletic footwear and equestrian footing amongst other products and don’t end up in landfill. Once our container is full they are contacted and come and collect. There are other recycling companies around but their alternative uses for tennis balls still end up in landfill.

Please use it to stop tennis balls going to landfill and to help fulfill our environmental and sustainability responsibilities.

Our Mini-Courts have just been repainted, having been cleaned earlier in the year.

There is an additional line (yellow) and colour block (red) on either side of the net which is for playing pickleball. 

We will be promoting pickleball during the Autumn term and if anyone is interested in championing this new activity then please do contact the club on haddenhamtennisclub@hotmail.com
