All new adult members are  offered a free 30 minute lesson with Head Coach Blaise.

Minis or Juniors will be invited to attend a coaching squad session (free of charge) at a mutually convenient time. This new initiative is aimed at helping new members integrate into the club to quickly find their feet and to play alongside existing members in club sessions just as soon as possible. You will receive details in your Welcome Email.

FAMILY

SEASON 24/25 - new member rate £232 and existing member renewal rate £209

We encourage membership of families and offer 2 adults plus their children (under the age of 18)  all living at the same address the opportunity for a family membership.

For access to the courts for general play a court key can be rented  for £10 for the duration of membership. The key remains the property of HTC and if membership is not renewed the key must be returned and this amount is reimbursed.

ADULTS

SEASON 24/25 - new member rate £105 and existing member renewal rate £95

Adult playing members have full use of the courts and facilities. Opportunities for play including weekly social sessions, coaching squads and match play is detailed on the Membership Information document which is viewable on the website under HTC Membership tab.

JUNIORS

SEASON 24/25 - new member rate £42 and existing member renewal rate £38

Junior membership is for ages 11-18 (age as at 1st September of the preceding year). Most of our junior members start as Mini members and as their enjoyment of the game continues they progress to the next level.

We require parent/guardian contact details for all junior members and direct contact will be made via the parent/guardian. 

If no other family member has a court key, one can be provided to the parent/guardian for a cost of £10. The key remains the property of HTC and if membership is not renewed the key must be returned and this amount is reimbursed

The pavilion is shared with other Playing Field  users and we have to insist that access must be under strict parent/guardian supervision.

MINIS

Mini membership is for under 11’s (31st August of the preceding year).

MINIS IN COACHING - by invitation

SEASON 24/25  - FREE membership for infant school children (Sch Years R-2) enrolled in HTC termly coaching 

A concessionary membership for Infant school children (Yrs R-2 ie under 8 on 31st August of the previous year) who have been enrolled on a termly coaching course during this current season to join as free members for the upcoming season.

To give them the best possible start to enjoying the game of tennis they can have coaching and join the holiday Tennis Camps at member rates and book a mini-court at no cost to play with a parent.

We require parent/guardian contact details for all mini members and direct contact will be made via the parent/guardian.

SENIOR (previously OVER 70’S )

SEASON 24/25 - new member rate £63 and existing member renewal rate £57

We welcome players of all ages and offer a reduced membership rate for players aged 70 and over at the start of the new season, 1st April each year.

All other membership conditions are as per the adult category described above.

WEEKDAY 

SEASON 24/25 - new member rate £63 and existing member renewal rate £57

Weekday membership offers a reduced rate for play limited to Mondays-Fridays 09.00-16.00. 

All other membership conditions are as per the adult category described above.

YOUNG ADULT 

SEASON 24/25 - new member rate £53 and existing member renewal rate £48

For 18-25 year olds, age as at the start of the new season, 1st April each year and who maybe away studying or just starting out in the world of work we offer a reduced subscription rate.

All other membership conditions are as per the adult category described above.

HONORARY

This category is by invitation only. It is offered by the HTC committee to long-standing, founding members of HTC.

NB  Membership includes:

• free use of floodlights between the hours of 15.00-22.00 as required
• supply of balls for club social sessions
• combined liability insurance through HTC's LTA Registered Venue status
• court usage via the Book A Court system and option to invite guests to play
• discounted rates for coaching squads, holiday camps and any other paid sessions.

JUNIOR TRUST FUND

The club has for many years maintained a trust fund for children and families requiring financial assistance with HTC membership. An application email or letter should be sent for the attention of Margaret Wilson - HTC's Junior Trust Fund Trustee, contact details here
