About the Club
This is a very active and friendly club on the Nanpantan sports ground with opportunities for all players. There are plenty of activities going on at all times. From Match play in Leicestershire Leagues to social club play and social events for all the family and much more... see our news section for what's been happening. There is also a dedicated coaching team with fixed regular sessions for different levels throughout the year.
The Club goes back a long way, it was originally a Tennis Section of the Brush Sports & Social Organisation which was funded in part by contributions of six pence per week (2.5p) by employees of the Brush Electrical Engineering Company situated in Loughborough. It was usual for large firms after World War 1 to invest in sports facilities to attract employees to the area and especially apprentices for future growth. The current oldest member joined in 1966.
