The Norwich Winter League has finally commenced, with two matches played to date, on Sunday 11th October.
Captains Reports:
The D Team played UEA B. The ladies struggled to win their two sets but Rob and Allan halved, taking one set. In the mixed Allan and Mandy managed to take both sets, while Rob and Elaine battled hard but lost both sets. So a narrow defeat for the team, losing 5 sets to 3.
The B Team played against Southwold A in showery and windy conditions. Play was stopped at one stage due to heavy rain. Andy was unable to play so Richard stepped up to partner Peter. Their men proved too strong resulting in an overall 6-2 loss for LTTC. Congratulations to Belinda and Carol who battled to win both sets in the ladies.
