Covid 19 - Some Restrictions Lifted 13 May 2020

Please note that due to COVID-19  normal Club play and leagues have been suspended until further notice.  However, as of Wed 13 May some restrictions have been lifted and the courts are now open.  Some tennis can be played but only subject to specific restrictions.

The following Government proviso applies: 'You should partake in such activities with members of your own family, or with one other person from outside your household while practising social distancing. You should take particular care if you need to use any outdoor facilities such as toilets. You should not use these facilities if you are showing Coronavirus symptoms, or if you or any of your family are self-isolating.'

East Suffolk Norse will be on-site and have displayed notices applying terms and conditions for use.

Please abide by the notices displayed and the summary of the restrictions below. Please adhere to strict hygiene guidelines, including  wiping door handles and net winders. Hand sanitizers, wipes and antiseptic spray are in the club room.  Use your own tennis balls, marked so they don't get mixed up with neighbouring courts. The LTA advise that a glove is worn on the non racket holding hand to ensure that you don't come into contact with the tennis balls at any time. When changing ends use opposite ends of the net to cross. For the full guidance:  https://www.lta.org.uk/globalassets/news/2020/lta-guidance-for-tennis-players---covid-19.pdf

Please leave the club room locked whilst you are playing.
