When the cycle ends, two players move one level down and two players from the box below move up (relegation / promotion style)

Match Format

1. The players in a Box are expected to play each other at least once in an official game
2. A match should be 2 full sets and 1 tie-break set or best of 3 sets (players can agree what works for them)

Scoring

1. Player wins both sets:
Winner 4 points, loser 1 point

2. Players both win one set and one player wins the tie-break:
Winner 3 points, loser 2 points

3. One player unable to play a match:
Available player 3 points, unavailable player 0 points

4. Only one set completed:
Players to agree if first set winner gets 3 points and the other gets 1 point
or
Each player get 2 points

Ladder Administration

Ateesh will manage the results table - just send your scores to him after playing and he'll circulate updated tables every two weeks.

We welcome new participants in the ladder system who will be allocated to an appropriate ladder according to their technical level. Please inform Ateesh or anyone from the MHM Singles group of your interest.

If you don't fancy the ladder, you are still very welcome to join the Whatsapp Singles Matches Enthusiasts group to arrange ad hoc hits or matches. It has already proven quite a hit with lot of folks.  To get on the group, please contact Ateesh or any of the folks who you might know are already on the group!
