Chris Cunningham's final day on 18th July 2020 as the Club's Head Coach, with his final session being with Joshua Abbott whose big brothers were coached by Chris near the start of his 25 year career at the Club. Pictured here with his successor, Ben Smith, with whom he effected a silky smooth handover. Many members have given their thanks privately to Chris and his send off party on the Saturday included Moira Wands who first suggested to Chris that he coach her son, and so started his journey to the pinnacle of his tennis career as Head Coach for Stowmarket Lawn Tennis Club for over 25 years. When Covid-19 permits, the Club will be able to give full appreciation to his achievements on behalf of the Club and game he loves. We are delighted he continues in membership.
