Sudbury Tennis Club has an active and popular mens' seniors group (over 55) who meet up every Tuesday in summer and Wednesday morning in winter at 9 30 am throughout the year and in all weathers. We play round-robin doubles and all just mix in whatever our various abilities might be, fun social tennis and friendship being the key focus.
For the more competitive players we enter two teams in the Halstead and District Senior Tennis League . The A team, captained by Paul Baker, play in the highly competitive division 1 . The B team, captained by Geoff Barrett, play in division 2.
New additions to the group are always welcome, just turn up with your racquet, it doesn’t matter what level you may be, you will be assured of a warm reception.!
Sudbury Seniors Annual Tournament
Around Christmas Sudbury seniors hosts an open tournament which is always over-subscribed. Most clubs in the league are represented, and the event provides some tough and challenging tennis.
