Ullswater & Eden Junior Tennis Club

Ullswater and Eden Junior Tennis club was foundered in 2003.  We are a Registered Charity (Charity No – 1121819) and we are affiliated to the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA). We are the only Junior tennis club in the Penrith area, offering tennis for all abilities.

As a club, we aim:

• To make tennis fun and exciting.
• For our members to make new friends, learn lifetime skills and encourage individuals to achieve their potential.
• To develop the core fundamentals of all sports: agility; balance; co-ordination; concentration and respect.
• To encourage physical, emotional and social development.
• To work as a team and as an individual.
• To provide a positive and supportive environment where mistakes are regarded as an opportunity for growth.

Our Head Coach is ably supported by several young assistants, all of which are inspirational role models for our juniors.

We offer all year round pay and play sessions on a Saturday morning, as well as specific coaching for individuals or small groups throughout the week:

• Pay and Play Coaching is on Saturday mornings and is available to both members and non-members:
  • Beginners - 10am to 11am
  • Improvers - 11am to 12pm
  • Secondary School - 12pm to 1pm

Membership includes free use of the courts, which can be easily booked through our online booking system. We host Club Championships and for those who want to, the opportunity to take part in Team competitions. Other benefits of becoming a member can be found on our membership page.
