Wiveliscombe Tennis Club

Welcome to Wiveliscombe Tennis Club. Founded in 1926, we are a friendly and welcoming local club that prides itself on our facilities including three fully-maintained courts, a clubhouse, bicycle racking and car park.

The club facilities are open to members 365 days a year. Membership is usually annual but we also offer competitive monthly options. We welcome new members and would encourage anyone who is interested to contact us for a visit.

We run twice weekly club sessions for all members and offer a wide-ranging coaching service for adults, juniors and returners to tennis.  For those who like to play competitively there are tournaments and league matches.

No matter your age or ability, you’ll find Wiveliscombe Tennis Club is the right club for you.

Our club offers three fully maintained all-weather courts, all with full LED floodlighting. The Clubhouse is available with men's and ladies' changing rooms and toilets and a well equipped kitchen area. The adjacent grounds are well-maintained with a patio and outdoor seating.

We also feature a ball machine (lobster) to help you hone your skills.

We have a 3m junior net located in the cupboard above the ball machine cupboard, for members to use with their little ones, Parents note children Under 12 are required to have parental supervision whilst using the courts and not participating in any venue sessions, such as coaching lessons or tennis camps.  U16s access to the clubhouse is only available when accompanied by a responsible adult-public toilets available at the swimming pool from mid April 2026. See club rules for full terms.
