On Saturday the club held the club’s celebration event at Rockcliff Rugby Club.
We had a great night which included a quiz and buffet and a presentation to congratulate all our junior and adult players who won a trophy at this year’s club championships.
One new award was presented this year which was ‘team of the year’. We had some great nominees this year which included the mixed veterans team, under 8’s team and ladies third team after successful seasons this Summer.
However, there could only be one winner and this year’s winners was the men’s first team!
The team had a successful season as they claimed promotion to B division for the fourth time in the club’s history but also the second time in 5 years!
