Last Thurday night Blaydon TC hosted a first ever Halloween adult team event with 5 teams made up from various Newton Tennis coaching groups.
The weather was kind and the end was dramatic as after three and a half hours of play the result came down to the tiebreak of the last match on court one with a crowd looking on.
Congrats to the Tyne Valley Vampires who took the crown and prizes. Thanks to Newton Tennis for organising, and thanks to Blaydon TC for offering to host. A great time was had by all, especially when the home made bakes were broken into!!
