Ladies Tournament

The first tournament of 2017; a Ladies American Doubles was run on Friday 28th April 207.
16 ladies took part and played 8 rounds of great tennis in the spring sunshine, followed by a lovely spread for lunch provided by all the players.
The winners of the tournament were:
1st place - Kate Llloyd
2nd place- Siobhan Lovell
3rd place - Jane Boulter
Congratulations to the winners and well done to everyone for playing many games of tennis throughout the morning.
Tha charity chosen for the day was: Breast Cancer UK and £90.00 was raised, a great start to our fund raising for the year.
Thank you to Sue Gardiner for organising the event so efficiently as usual and we all look forward to the next mixed american doubles tournament on Sunday 11th June.
