The BVTC Ladies 1st team, captained by Julia Young, played their final match against Leicestershire C winning 11-0 therefore sealing promotion to the Leicestershire County Summer Ladies Doubles Div 1, the first time in the club's history.

The BVTC Ladies 2nd team (captained by Penni Wray) ended their season with a sensational flourish, also victorious in their final match. As a result, they will be playing Division 3 next summer.

But wait, there's more. The newly formed Ladies 3rd team, the club's  first-ever third team, captained by Sarah Hartland also won promotion into Div 4.

Belvoir Vale Over 40's ladies doubles 1st team has also gained promotion into Leicestershire Div 3, captained by Jo Goodberry, the team won the division by a clear 13 points, winning 50 out of the 56 sets played.

New to the league this season is a second mixed team, captained by Steve Wainwright & Carol Fishwick. Starting in the lowest division 7 as a newly formed team, the team won themselves promotion to Div 6 next summer. Mixed 1 finished 3rd in division 6a, missing promotion by the narrowest of margins. (3 games).

The Men's 1st team, captained by Nigel Daniels, after many injuries and freak results were bottom of division 2 with one game to play. Because the division was so tight on points, by winning 8-1 in their final match, the men finished 5th out of 10 and remain in Div 2, after 4 consecutive season promotions.
