Summer report - Ladies 2nd Team

Having been injured early on in the season and unable to play at all, it has given me the opportunity to watch the team play their matches, which has been brilliant.
With 10 players in the Seniors league and 15 in the main league, we put out 2 great teams.
Wendy Bland (7th in top 10 players in the division), Fran Hansford, Jo Buxton, Rachael Holliday, Dru Redman, Debbie Clarke, Gill Lambert, Anna Reece, Lucy Pain, Priscilla Godsmark, Neelum Mistry, Anita Bartys, Helen Towns.
Some fab tennis being played and good partnerships being cemented, culminated in finishing a well-earned ‘top of the league’ 3B in the seniors and ‘safe’ in the middle ish of the main league. Our seniors’ team will therefore be promoted to the 2nd division and chasing our first team!
Well done everyone and a big thank you for providing some very enjoyable tennis to watch this summer.
