The talented pairings were Holly Cheeseman and Emily Rodbourne as well as Bea Cooper and Caroline Wilkinson.
The students are an extremely talented outfit and great credit must be given to Charnwood Ladies in tying the fixture at four sets apiece. However, the University won the tie as they secured seven more games than Charnwood.
Following the match Club Captain Cheeseman said "we played really well today and look forward to four more challenging National League fixtures in the New Year".
