Tennis action continued in the Leicestershire Winter League following the half term break, with Charnwood Ladies first team hosting Lutterworth firsts on Sunday 3 November in their latest match.
The visitors gave everything but the hosts were just too strong, and with each of the two rounds of matches being played over two sets, pulled off a victory by eight sets to love.
The successful pairings for Charnwood were Emily Rodbourne and club captain Holly Cheeseman as well as Bea Cooper and Hannah Kendrick-Holmes.
Rodbourne and Cheeseman put in a dominant display, achieving a double bagel 6-0, 6-0 in their first match, as well as a comfortable 6-2, 6-2 in their second tie.
Cooper and Kendrick-Holmes were pushed closer by Lutterworth's first pair before prevailing 7-5, 6-4. They had fewer issues seeing off Lutterworth's second pair, with a 6-1, 6-0 win.
