We are fast approaching the end of our grass court season. I hope you have enjoyed playing on them over the summer (when it hasn't been raining). The last day of play on grass will be  Tuesday 24th September this year and we will then move to Blackbrook (outside courts) for the winter.
 
Blackbrook for winter tennis
These sessions are paid for by Elms LTC and you do not need to pay anything to attend them.
We will be playing twice a week at Blackbrook :
 
Thursday evening 7-9pm (2 courts) and
Saturday afternoon 1-4pm (4 courts)
 
We will be sharing the courts with members of Taunton Tennis Club, so don't be surprised if you see some people you don't know on the courts.
We can continue to use our WhatsApp group to see who is planning to attend the sessions.
 
Vivary Park and Cheddon Road (Taunton Green) tennis courts.
There are 2 recently-refurbished public courts at both of these two sites, and the courts can be booked via the Clubspark Booker App that we use for our club. You will need to pay for these courts (either by the hour, or by taking up an annual membership). If you want to form a group to play on these courts then you can sort this out using our WhatsApp groups.
 
Club annual general meeting (AGM)
We will be holding our AGM in November and all members are welcome to attend. This will be our first as a limited organisation (you may have seen the certificate confirmation our incorporated status). Thank you to everyone who came to our extraordinary general meeting to vote for this change.
The AGM will be held on Wednesday 20th November at 7pm in the clubhouse. We will send out the agenda and the minutes from last year before the meeting, and are very happy to discuss any issues or ideas that you have during the AGM.
 
Christmas Drinks
We are planning on holding informal Christmas drinks at the clubhouse on Wednesday December 4th 6-8pm. We will send you more details nearer to the date.
