The final game of the season this year contrasted somewhat to last year, with promotion on the line vs avoiding relegation, in a "winner takes all" match against Morpeth, the victors to be promoted up to the C division. Blessed with fair weather, we got off to a great start, taking an early 3-0 lead and from there on in, didn't look back, securing a convincing win and securing the promotion spot. A great end to the season and a fitting outcome to what has been a strong season, buoyed with the return of club legend Mark McPeake and some new members this season, such as Kyran Maguire and Lawrence Best, to strengthen and add depth to the 1st team squad. And with additonal new members having also recently joined, next season promises to be exciting, with a step up in level awaiting !
