After relegation last year, this Summer the Men’s Third team has bounced back up for next year with an almost perfect season. They had six resounding wins. The only loss was in a very close match ( 5 - 7 ) to the eventual league winners. Our team, second in the league, was promoted with the winners.
Chris Lewis, team captain, was delighted with the way the players performed, all of them. Whilst he relied on some regulars, he had to call on others, due to injury or unavailability, sometimes at short notice and all who turned out all played their part.
