2 Saturday 4 April, laying of carpet well on way.

3 Sunday (Easter Day), hard work of yesterday put back somewhat due to high winds overnight. Fosse personnel to take it in their stride!

4 Bank Holiday Monday, sand down; resembles a desert!

5 Same day, work nearly finished. Still sandy looking – BUT see below.

NOTE: it looks too sandy for tennis, but the intelligence is that the sand will settle in with time and precipitation. Should not have to wait too long for the latter!

To finish the project, hopefully within a week, Fosse will be installing new net posts and a tall wire fence at the Linden Road end. They will also re-instate the paling fence, adjacent to the same road.
