NOTICE OF CANCELLATION : MIXED LEAGUE & DON BRACE CUP COMPETITIONS 2020 ( COVID-19 )
I am writing this letter on behalf of our Committee to you and all of your club’s members. 
We have been closely following all of the advice issued by the Government, its advisers and the LTA regarding the 
current dire Covid-19 situation. We have noted and heeded all of the expert advice given and have decided that 
the Mixed League and Don Brace Cup competitions are cancelled with immediate effect.
With regard to the Ladies and Mens competitions we are continuing to monitor the situation and keeping our 
options open in the hope that there may yet be a chance of playing them. A final decision will be made on this 
early in June. 
On this basis I will still need to have your completed “ REQUEST FOR LEAGUE CONTACTS 2020 “ form. I have received 
a number of them but there are still a few outstanding. In order to take into account a possible resumption of the 
season with the Ladies and Mens Leagues I have now extended the return date for this form to be by not later 
than Friday 26th June 2020 and this will also facilitate updates on the details that have already been provided by 
some clubs. Thereafter a new updated list for the remainder of the 2020 season will be issued by me should play 
look like resuming. 
I will endeavour to keep you fully informed as things develop and in the meantime we hope that you and all of 
those associated with your club remain fit and healthy.
