Loughborough Lawn Tennis Club offers year round tennis for players of all abilities and ages.
About Us
Whether just starting to play or you have been hitting since the Fred Perry era, Loughborough Lawn Tennis Club caters for you. Whatever night of the week, there's always tennis being played at Ingle Pingle in Loughborough. Thanks to our all weather winter dome over 2 courts, you can play tennis whatever the weather, all year round.
Facilities
Loughborough Lawn Tennis Club has four hard courts and three new artificial clay courts, with 6 of them benefiting from floodlights, meaning that you can play late into the evening.
An airdome covers 2 courts in the winter months allowing tennis to be played in all weathers. The clubhouse also has a lounge, function room, kitchen and bar facilities, which are available to all club members and can also be rented for private functions. There is also private on-site parking.
The tennis club enjoys an quiet, secluded location close to both Loughborough town centre and the University.
History
Loughborough Lawn Tennis Club was established in 1889 and tennis has been played at Ingle Pingle ever since. The club has grown in popularity in recent years due its reputation as one of the most inclusive clubs in the country and now boasts over 200 active members from beginners through to national level players and Paralympians too! The social scene is also at the heart of the club's recent growth.
