The final tournament of the year- the annual Juler tournament was held on a pleasant September day with 16 players taking part allowing all 4 match courts to be in use. The event run by Lucy and Richard Brabben involved seven 20 minute matches with sudden death deuces. Time out after four matches for tea and coffee and catching up was then followed by the remaining three matches. Pairings were changed after every match so a wide range of partners meant everything was to play for. The winners were Christine Turner and Richard Brabben with Debbie Faulkner and Steve Rogers runners up. The event finished with a lovely lunch provided by all participants.
