Our communiy of tennis and pickleball members is growing and we'd love you to join us!

Tennis

Organised Social Tennis nights are on a Tuesday and a Thursday evening from 5.30pm and Saturday afternoon from 2pm.  All are welcome to come along and try our social sessions, with potential new members invited to attend three sessions without charge before committing to joining.

Organised Social Tennis sessions are Tuesdays from 5.30pm and Thursdays from 5.30pm and on Saturday from 2.00pm to 4.30pm

* Floodlights for club sessions, league matches and tournaments are paid by the club.  Any additional evening bookings that require floodlights are payable to Lowestoft Town Council at the time of booking the court (currently £2 per hour)

** Non-members are welcome to attend three Social Tennis Evening "Taster" Sessions and if they would like to participate in the Club organised social sessions thereafter on a more regular basis and enjoy the benefits of being a club member (as detailed above), they would be very welcome to take up a Full Membership

On becoming a member you will receive a blue club shoe tag which should be clipped onto the shoes you are wearing on court. It helps us all to recognise Club members and they are invaluable in terms of safeguarding.

Annual Subscriptions (Reduced from 2024/25 Rates!) 

From the 2023/24 season, we restructured / simplified the approach to memberships to make club membership more attractive and affordable and to grow the club.  For example, a new membership category for families was introduced, a flat rate membership for adults, whether social members or league playing and all juniors/students paid the same rate.

This has continued for the 2025/26 season and subscription rates have been reduced this year and match fees for those playing in league teams and entering club tournaments have been frozen at 2023/24 rates.  

The following annual rates apply for Tennis new members and renewals through to 31 March 2026, with pro-rata reductions (only for new members) from 1 July 2025, 1 October 2025 and 1 January 2026 :

• Family membership (up to 2 adults + children under 19 as at 1 April 2025 and living at the same address) - £80 per annum
• Adult membership - £40 per annum
• Junior membership (under 19 as at 1 April 2025) / Student membership (in full time education as at 1 April 2025 and aged 18-25) / Unemployed membership - £10 per annum
