Hilda Moore was recommended to His Majesty the King for the honour of British Empire Medal (BEM) and is now in the New Year 2026 Honours list! 

The short citation will read ‘Tennis Coach and Volunteer’. This follows her success at the LTA National Tennis Awards with the Lifetime Achievement Award. Hilda will be presented with her medal by the Lord Lieutenant at a local ceremony and will be invited to a Royal Garden Party.

What a great start to 2026. Congratulations to Hilda and her husband David, who supported her throughout!
