SEASON OPENER

The ‘Season Opener’ and Club Championships Rolls Ups on 25-26th April was a blockbuster start to the season. We had 48 entries into the Roll Ups Congratulations to our finalists and winners:

Gillian Shotton/ Carlos Adriazola beat Emma Mitchener/Peter May in the finals. Carlos was our youngest entrant and first timer in the competition!

David Ripley/Andrew Payne just squeezed a win in the plate over Pablo Vergara/Martin Jackson

Sunday saw social tennis, a bumper ‘Hit Fit’ session, ‘Beat the Coach’ and a Single Point knock out tournament before the final adult/child afternoon session. Thanks to everyone who volunteered and helped. We also said goodbye to Elliott Kami, our Level 3 coach at this event. We wish him well ‘down under’.
