The club has a friendly and active ladies section. We are keen to recruit new team players. There are a regular groups of ladies playing at the club on Tuesday Club Nights, Wednesday mornings and Saturday afternoons.
We also hold a Ladies Charity Tournament and lunch during the early summer.
Ladies Team
We enter a team in both the Leicestershire County Summer and Winter Doubles League and also a team in the Seniors Doubles League (40+). There is a WhatsApp group for all ladies who want to be involved in the teams. Any ladies interested in playing in the Summer League should contact the Ladies Captains.
Matches take place at home or away during the summer from May onwards. The main summer league matches usually start at 6:15 or 6:30. A team consists of 3 doubles pairs. Each pair will play one set (to 8 games) against each of the opposing teams pairs.

Match fees are £3 per player for both home and away matches. To avoid handling cash players will be sent a 'bill' via email at the end of the season detailing fees owed for matches played.
The regular time for Ladies team practices during the season will be advised.

Ladies Charity Tournament
Each year we hold a Ladies Charity Tournament, usually on a Friday in June.
Any ladies are welcome. There will be a fee for taking part which will cover the cost of the lunch following the tournament plus the contribution to charity.
Players will play in doubles but will compete against each other on an individual basis - aiming to win as many games as possible with different partners and against different opponents. Each round will last about 20 mins. The losing pair in each round splits and moves to different courts. The winning pair stay on the same court but split and each partner one of the 'losing players' joining them from the other two courts.
Club Members (including Men) and guests are welcome to join the players for the post tournament lunch.
For players taking part in the tournament the fee will be £10. For those attending the lunch only -the charge will be £8.
