Court Booking Help

SPTC uses the LTA ClubSpark system for online court booking. The club uses this system free-of-charge, and as such, has limited control over how it works. Please read these common problems and solutions before contacting us.

 

MEMBER BOOKING - COMMON PROBLEMS

1) It's your first time logging in

  • You may still see locked courts (padlocks against all timeslots) the first time you log in, even if your email address is registered and on our membership list
  • Log out and back in, and try again

2) You are a junior member

  • For security reasons, junior's details are not stored in the LTA ClubSpark system
  • Your parent/guardian who sent in your membership from will have access to book courts on your behalf. Please register with their email address to continue booking

3) You have more than one email address

  • If the email address registered on ClubSpark is different to the one supplied to the club when you joined, then your membership will not be linked correctly
  • If you wish to use a different email address on ClubSpark (or you are not sure which is used), contact committee.sptc@gmail.com with your name and the email address you wish to use for booking

4) You share your email address with your partner/family

  • The system does not like two membership records sharing one email address
  • To avoid this problem, I add the email address supplied on the membership form to only one family-member's record
  • This means you will share login details, and you may see your partner's (or other family-member's) name show against your booking
  • If you'd prefer this not to happen, contact committee.sptc@gmail.com and provide a unique email address for your member record

5) You haven't booked in a long time or have never booked before

  • The system doesn't like periods of inactivity against member records
  • In this case, contact committee.sptc@gmail.com who will trigger an email to you direct from the booking system
  • Login via the link in that email and try again

6) The system is overloaded

  • A unique issue seen when clubs re-opened after lockdown, due to the sheer number of people trying to access the system from the hundreds of clubs across the country
  • Logging in early in the morning or late at night might help

7) Other problems

  • We have one member who, despite us taking all steps possible, still could not access our courts
  • In this case, we had to contact LTA support and they solved the issue

 

PUBLIC BOOKING

As yet we have not had any problems raised with public booking. If you experience any issues contact committee.sptc@gmail.com. Please note that this email address is monitored every other day, so you can expect a short delay in response.
