St John's is hosting 3 junior tournaments in 2026 as part of the Tennis GP. Our coach, Martyn Bullingham, has organised these events that help encourage juniors to play competitive tennis in a safe and social environment.

On April 12, Martyn hosted juniors from tennis clubs around Ipswich, including St John's, to compete in a Tennis GP Orange event. This was an excellent opportunity for juniors aged 9 and under to compete in a fast and friendly singles tournament.

This was the first of a series of 3 events being run by Martyn as part of the Tennis GP and it was won by a St John's junior.

What is Tennis GP?

Tennis GP is a series of competitions run across Suffolk for junior tennis players. The aim is to get juniors involved in compeition early, but in a safe and social way.
