Local hero, Jim Clarke, has just completed a tennis marathon, playing from 6.30am to 9pm with many club members aged between 7 and 80 years. Continuously play was in extreme heat! All in aid of Dementia UK, for which he has so far raised over  £1200. He covered 32.5 miles, more than 6 miles further than a full marathon; and burned 9,500 calories.
