The Senior A team made a winning start to the winter 22/23 season taking all three opening matches against Castle Hedingham, Braintree and Wickham Bishops A. Unfortunately for us and rough luck, Lavenham have handed all the above teams with 6 – 0 walkovers, but are managing to field a team for our fixture with them. With a game in hand we stand second in the league.
The B team made an equally successful start by winning their first two matches but then went down to Lavenham in a closely fought contest. The table doesn’t show up to date results so we can’t publish accurate tables.
Wednesday 9 30 is the senior roll up and play session with good attendance providing some competitive tennis. Just turn up with your racket! All over 55s welcome.
