How to set up a Free Play Membership junior (under 18’s)
Free Play Membership is for Southwark residents 5–18 years (Free Play Junior).
After providing proof of eligibility users can make a daily booking of 30 minutes without charge.
For Free Play Junior applications, the parent/guardian must live within the borough, have a free Southwark Tennis ClubSpark booking account, and provide proof of eligibility such as;
The parent/guardian proof of living in the borough can be:
- Council Tax bill
- Driving licence
- Official letter with home address
5-18 years proof can be:
- Passport
- Bus Pass
- Letter from school/college in the last 6 months
Step 1 Parent/ guardian must have a free ClubSpark booking account. To register for this please click on register on the top right of the web page, if you already have a ClubSpark booking account you can skip this step. Step 2 Once you have registered with ClubSpark/LTA, please go to membership page and at the bottom of the page is Southwark registration, please press the join button and follow the instruction and fill out the membership. This will ensure you are a Tennis in Southwarks member, and your profile is connected to the Tennis in Southwark. This will help us to locate your account/profile quicker and enable us to apply the Free Play Junior to your membership/ account/ profile on ClubSpark.
Step 3 For us to add your child / under 18 to your ClubSpark booking account we will need proof/evidence of you being a resident of Southwark and that your child is under the age of 18 years and your child's date of birth to add to their profile.
This can be done by sending a digital image of one of the items listed above showing your name and address. We also ask for an image/document for the child (passport, Oyster, or School letter…just one will do) as the beneficiary. If they have not been set up before, please share the date of birth as this is also required.
Please email the proof / evidence of eligibility to sports@southwark.gov.uk we will then do the admin to set up the Free Play Junior membership and will inform you once complete.
