The wait is finally over and Magdalen Park Lawn Tennis Club is getting a couple of new courts, built on the newly acquired land. We are happy to share that ground has been broken and works begun! One will be a clay court, and the other hard. Both are being built with the aim of giving members more options and more time on court, whatever the weather.

We’ll also be making some thoughtful improvements to the beloved terrace area while the court construction is underway. The terrace will be expanded to provide a bit more space for everyone to sit back and enjoy a drink or chat after a match, while also opening up new views over the additional courts. It’s already a favourite spot at the club - especially on sunny days - and these changes will help make our much-loved sun trap even more inviting, social, and connected to the action on court.
