We had 30 ladies taking part in a very weather-lucky morning of tennis; it poured before, it poured after, but the sun was out from 10-1pm for us! After four round robin rounds, four semi final partnerships emerged: Penny Sloman and Sophie Stewart versus Hannah Craig and Carla Bates, and Emma Forrest and Katherine Bell versus Emma Guest and Fiona Perry. 

Two partnerships progressed to the final Hannah Craig and Carla Bates versus Emma Forrest and Katherine Bell. In the end, Hannah Craig and Carla Bates just clinched the win against Emma Forrest and Katherine Bell in a fast-paced final.

It was a wonderful morning with new faces and old, scrumptious quiches and cakes, and lots of laughter despite the ever-circling grey clouds.
