Children's rackets, balls court markers and free-standing nets are available in the clubhouse for members and guests. Notes are also provided for playing at the mini Red, Orange and Green levels [ages up to 10].
We have a special free membership rate for children. See the Membership tab: children of full adult members pay nothing. Alternatively, membership can be as low as £35 for the year for a mini together with one parent as an Associate [ie non-playing] Member.
Children's coaching is available locally. See the Coaching tab.
Burneside Tennis Club aims to provide a safe environment for children and vulnerable adults. Coaching sessions are conducted only by approved [DBS-checked] instructors with insurance through LTA or Professional Tennis Register [UK]. No child under the age of 13 shall use the club facilities unless they are accompanied by their parent[s] or by a responsible person aged 18 or over known to their parent[s]
and who are trusted with their care.
