Members can bring visitors to play at the club!
Do you have friends visiting who play? Do you want to challenge a work colleague to a match but they’re not a member? Do you know someone who enjoys a game of tennis but hasn’t joined the club? Why not invite them to the club as your visitor?
Simply sign them in before you go on court (the visitor’s book is usually by the floodlight switches in the clubhouse) and play as long as you like for a £5 charge. Put the money and the visitors details in an envelope. Then, if they want to join, we have a record of those visits and can deduct that amount from their membership fee (no refunds if they’ve already paid more than the membership!). Please don’t disclose our gate code etc. A member may ask who they are, but if you’ve signed them in, they’ll know it’s all OK.
