Thanks to those of you who managed to attend our AGM, there was quiute a lot of business to get through.

Firstly, Jim Wheeler announced that he is stepping down as Club Captain with immediate effect after many years of tremendous service to the Club. He will, however, continue to contribute as a committee member.

We would like to thank Jim for all his hard work.

We are delighted that Niall Wallington has agreed to take over the role of Club Captain, (while continuing his responsibilities for our health&safety) and we wish him all the best. He is very keen to get more members involved in competitive tennis at ALL levels, and looks forward to your support.

Secondly, Junior Coaching on Sunday mornings has already started for the year, and will continue through to Novermber, with renewed support from the Whitebread Trust for children living in the village.  Please contact Anna by email if you have and kids who are interested via kettonjuniortennis@gmail.com

Despite significant expenditure on Court maintainance and replacement of fencing  in 2022,  we managed to run a small surplus to increase the club's reserves.

However, due to dramatic increases in operating costs and predicted capital expenditure provisions, we have had to review our financial forecasting. This indicates that the Club needs to increase its annual surplus, to ensure that we are in a position to resurface courts, replace floodlights etc when necessary.

In light of this, it was agreed at the AGM to increase subs for 23/4 by 5% plus an extra £10 for full adult members (Junior subs will be mainatined at 22/3 levels).

Invitations to renew your subscriptions will be sent out at the beginning of April, and
we hope that you will continue to support your club.

Social tennis sessions will continue this yearon Monday and Wednesday evenings at 6pm, and 2pm on Saturdays and Tueasdays. Please come along to meet old friends and make new ones.
