What is the WhatsApp Community?

The Kibworth Tennis Club WhatsApp community is a place where members can stay connected with the club, arrange games, and keep up to date with club news. Consisting of separate groups, each with a clear purpose, it ensures that you only see the conversations that are relevant to you.

The Community provides members with quick updates on social play, weather interruptions, events and court changes. Joining the community is completely optional. You can leave any group — or the whole community — at any time without affecting your membership.

Who can join?

WhatsApp is generally for users aged 13 and over in the UK. For any club member under 18, we ask that a parent or carer joins on the young person’s behalf, or is included in any relevant junior group communications. This helps us keep communication clear, appropriate and in line with club safeguarding guidance. 

Before you join

By joining the WhatsApp Community, your phone number and profile name or photo may be visible to other members within WhatsApp. The Community is for club‑related communication only. If you no longer wish to take part, you can leave at any time.
