We are committed to providing a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment for all players at Kibworth Tennis Club — especially children and young people. We follow the Lawn Tennis Association's safeguarding standards in full.
Kibworth Tennis Club takes its responsibilties seriously with regards to diversity and inclusivity and is committed to the safeguarding of all its members and the protection of its members data.

Our Welfare Officer is trained and available to any player, parent or member who has a question or concern about safeguarding or wellbeing at the club.
How to report a concern
If you have a concern about the welfare of a child or young person at the club, or about the conduct of any member, coach or volunteer. Please follow these steps:
- Contact our Welfare Officer: In person: Speak to them at the club
- Or report directly to the LTA: If you have a safeguarding concern, please use the LTA secure online form to provide the details (anonymously if you wish).
- Outside of office hours: If you'd like to speak to someone outside of office hours, you can call the NSPCC on 0808 800 5000.
- If a child is in immediate danger: Call 999 (Police)
Our commitment to safety
✓ All coaches and volunteers who work with juniors are DBS checked
✓ Our Welfare Officer is trained and available to all members
✓ We have a safeguarding policy and codes of conduct in place, reviewed regularly
✓ We follow LTA safeguarding standards throughout
✓ Any concern is taken seriously, handled confidentially, and escalated where appropriate.
